Changing Your Username
Note: Click on the links in the text to see a picture that helps describe that step. Each picture will open in its own window (the windows must be closed manually.)
Please note the following.
- Only Resource Members, Bookstores/Trade Accounts, and USCCB Preferred Customers can change their usernames.
- Usernames can only be changed when you sign on for the first time.
- To change your username, click on the link "Your Account" in center area towards the top of your screen, to the right of "USCCB Publishing."
- In the Account Login area, type in your username and password. Click "Login."
- If you get an error message that reads, "Invalid username or password," enter your username and password a second time. Usually, this will clear the error message.
- If the error message appears again, contact us for assistance.
- In the Change Password screen, note your present username (which was assigned by USCCB Publishing*).
- Change your username (this is optional).
- Enter your current password, your new password, then reenter your new password.
- Please note the following rules for changing your password.
- Use only letters or numbers in your username and password. Other characters like @, #, &, and ^ or other non-letter or non-numeric symbols cannot be used.
- Remember to write down your new password someplace where you can find it.
- When you have completed changing your password, click "Submit" at the bottom of the screen. Your username and password change will be saved.
- Click on "Publishing Home" or "Account Center" to enter the site and add items to your shopping cart.
*If you are a Resource Service Member, a bookstore or trade account, or a USCCB Preferred Customer, you are assigned a username and password. If have not received your username and password from us, please contact us by email or by phone at 800-235-8722.
